Well I did it. I graduated from law school. It wasn't easy. I sacrificed alot of fun, and perhaps my eyesight from squinting over textbooks and computer screens for hours on end, and I definitely made my first three years of marriage interesting...but it is finally done. I loved my journey through law school so much. I loved the challenge of it, the people I met, and the experiences I was able to gain. I'm so proud to be able to have the opportunity to work in a profession I love so much and that interests me so much. Throughout law school I would think of the Steve Jobs quote:
"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way
to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the
only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found
it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart,
you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just
gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you
find it. Don't settle."
I truly feel like working in the law is something that is going to keep getting better and better for me as the years pass and I'm grateful that law school has given me this opportunity.
My parents came for graduation. It was the first time I have had Sky's parents and my parents together since the wedding and I loved it. I was also lucky that my Aunt and my grandma were able to come.
