Skyler's Graduation

I'm going to be playing catchup in these next couple of posts! Law school took over my life again for awhile but now I'm done with finals and looking forward to my two weeks off before I start my summer associate position in SLC!

Skyler graduated in December, but we have been celebrating throughout the whole semester.  He's missing the actual walk across the stage because of our Mexico trip so I tried to make it super special still! I'm so proud of him and constantly amazed about how smart he is! If anyone knows my husband he is super humble and never tells anyone about anything he has achieved, etc. Skyler is so talented though and I was glad that we were able to have the opportunity to celebrate all of his achievements and hard work earlier this week at an award ceremony at UVU where he was one of the honorees!

Love of my life!

Skyler finished second in the entire marketing class at UVU (there are hundreds of students)! He missed out on first place by a hundredth of a point (probably from me distracting him).  It's such an accomplishment though considering how many people are in the marketing program!  I'm so proud of him!

I saved up for awhile to buy him his graduation present: a new Ipad 3!  He was so excited! We ordered it on the first day! My parents were always really good at celebrating any achievements I had growing up and making me feel special, so I wanted to make sure we kept that tradition in our family!

Speaking of my parents, they had planned on coming to Sky's graduation, but since we won't be here they sent us a care package, and a new case and blue-tooth keyboard for Sky's Ipad! Thanks Mom and Dad:)

Ignore my thumb, lol.

My mom even sent Skyler his favorite snack: Cheez-its and York Peppermint Patties.
I wanted to have more time to throw Skyler a graduation party, but I got really busy with finals, so I just surprised him with a small family celebration after his award ceremony.
We just had pizza and cake, and then these balloons and a crappy sign waiting for him!  He still really liked it though and was surprised!

Baby I love you so much and I'm so proud of you!

XOXO,

Jess
