The Johnstons: First Couple of Months of Marriage

I'm finally putting up pictures of our adventures the first couple of months of marriage! We have been really lucky to do so many fun things together:)

Boating with Sky's Family
We went out on Sky's parent's boat a couple of weekends and had so much fun! I loved going boating and tubing growing up, so it was perfect for me, and so much fun to do with Sky. The lake we went to, Deer Creek Lake, was gorgeous with the mountains all around us, and it really made me grateful that I get to live in such a beautiful place!

Camping on Labor Day
We went camping on Labor Day with some of our friends! It has been so much fun to have all of Sky's friends and their wives in the area. I have really enjoyed getting close to them!

I got dirt in my contacts right when we got there while four-wheeling so I had to wear my glasses! Good thing Sky loves me for more than my looks because I look like a goober with glasses on lol! I hadn't been camping for a couple of years so it was alot of fun!

The boys. These three have been friends for a long time. Its always cute to see Sky with his guy friends. He has had the same group of guys as friends for a long time, and it is always so much fun to hang out with them!

Danica's Birthday

For Skyler's sister Danica's bday, the whole family goes up to Park City for the alpine slide and coasters. I went this year with them and it was so much fun! I love spending time with his family, they are amazing!

Chan and Jen Get Married

Sky's friend Chandler got married in September to Jen! They are such a cute and fun couple. It was so nice to go down to St. George with all of his friends and their wives and hang out for the weekend! We stayed with the Crawfords at their condo, along with the Huish's, and had so much fun! It was nice to get away from law school for awhile! I didn't take many picture unfortunately, but here's one on St. George temple grounds.

Sky's Birthday

For Sky's b-day I threw him a surprise party at Goodwood with all of his friends. I made his favorite German Chocolate Cake and had balloons and everyone waiting for him there when we arrived. He was so surprised, and it was great to have all of his friends in one place! We went to a haunted house afterwards, which was really scary, but a lot of fun. It was my first time to go to one so I was glad that Sky wanted to do that on his birthday!

My friend Mary from law school came with her boyfriend! She has been such a good friend over the last couple of months!

Overall, it was so much fun, and I was so happy that all of Sky's friends could come and celebrate with him!

Nitro Circus at APX

Skyler's company, APX, brought Nitro Circus to its' front lawn as a thank you to all the sales reps. It was so much fun! We went with Sky's parents. I had seen the show on MTV a couple of times but it was 10x better live. APX had JDawgs, prizes, ect. at the event, and overall it was a really cool FREE event:)

BYU Football Games

Sky and I got all-sport passes and it has been so much fun to go to the games together and see college teams that are actually good! Dartmouth was terrible at football and basketball, so watching BYU is definitely a step up!
