Lately

I have been really busy with school, and Skyler has been really busy with work, but we have been trying to make time for some fun! Here are some of the things we have been up to in the past couple of months.

Deby's Birthday

In February we celebrated my sweet mother in law's birthday. The woman is truly a saint, and I'm really lucky to have her in my life!

We went to Olive Garden with the family to celebrate!

Jazz Game

In March we went to a Jazz game! It was my first regular season NBA game, and although it wasn't the Mavericks I loved it!

 

Law School Events

 In March we had the law school's halfway party for our 2L class.  They catered Goodwood and had a comedy troupe perform.  I love law school and love my class so it was great to have everyone together. And now we are 3L's, whoooohooo Class of 2013!

Last month we had the law school's annual Barrister's Ball.  There was dinner, dancing, and awards.  It was fun to see people at the school cut loose who are usually so stressed lol! Unfortunately Sky and I didn't get any good pics.

City Creek Opening

A very dangerous place opened up in SLC recently...City Creek Shopping Center.  It has basically every store you could want, and it is only 2 blocks away from where I'm working this summer!  We went to check it out on it's opening weekend.  It's beautiful and I'm really excited to do some damage there this summer:)

 Elmo

A sad thing happened to our family last month.  Our family dog, Elmo, had to be put down.  I've had Elmo since I was 6 so I was really upset about it.  He was the sweetest dog ever, and I know our family will always remember him. It's amazing how much pets become a part of your family.

Easter

Easter was split up this year due to my in-laws moving, and my crazy studying for exams schedule. On the actual Easter Sunday I surprised Sky with some Easter goodies.  He was pretty excited!

 The next weekend we went over to my in-laws new place, and had Easter dinner and decorated Easter eggs.

The egg decorating kit I brought was a glitter one.  The eggs were very girly to say the least lol.

 We are loving life now that I'm done with exams, and ready for a summer of hard work and fun starting with Mexico on Saturday!!!!!
