Christmas was amazing as usual. We have started quite the collection of holiday traditions, and I love it!
Temple Square Christmas Lights and Dinner at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building
Peppermint Chocolate Chip Shakes from Chick-fil-a
It is seriously the yummiest thing ever!
Strong and Hanni Christmas Party
My firm has a Christmas party in the press box of the University of Utah Stadium every year. I love any opportunity to dress up!
Jazz Games
(Not really a Christmas tradition, but we went to alot of games in December so I am counting it.)
12 Days of Christmas for Skyler
Decorating Gingerbread Houses
Ice-skating at the Gallivan Center
Christmas Eve Movies
Christmas Day
We were so spoiled this year by Skyler's parents! Christmas consisted of presents, food, and movies. It was perfect!
TEXAS
A few days after Christmas we headed off to Texas to see my family. We spent the first part of the trip in Dallas at my grandma's house with my brother, sister, and mom, and then spent New Year's in Houston.
While at my grandma's we went to Babe's Chicken Dinner House. It definitely epitomizes Texas and I was excited for Skyler to try it! I have so many memories from high school of going there with friends. Note the sign in the above picture: " Texas Ain't No Place for Amateurs." Agreed.

| Family Style Chicken Dinner |
The next day we had Christmas with my Mom's side of the family at my uncle's house.
We also were able to exchange presents and eat brunch with my biological mom and my other siblings.
After we returned to Houston we opened presents with my family.
