Fourth of July 2012!

Fourth of July was so awesome this year! It was great having my grandmother here, and having the day off! It was filled with barbecue, Cafe Rio, bowling, the Stadium of Fire, and the best firework show I have ever seen!

I had to add this as proof that I did beat Sky one time:)

 We went over to Deby and Clay's for dinner. My grandmother came as well. I made broccoli salad, and attempted to make Dole pineapple whips. That one was definitely a Pinterest fail!

So good!

Stadium of Fire

This was my first year to attend the Stadium of Fire. At first I wasn't that excited about the Beachboys being the headliner for the show, but they were absolutely amazing! It was funny because the last Stadium of Fire that Skyler had been to had been 20 years prior. That year a much younger Beachboys performed. Just like that year though, everyone, young and old, had so much fun this year dancing and singing to their hits.

The firework show was absolutely amazing! I had never seen one so good. It went on for over 30 minutes. The first half was James Bond themed, and the second half was patriotic themed. Provo definitely outdid itself!
