Another one of my best friends had a birthday in July! We don't get to see them very often because we are both so busy, but it was great catching up with Regan and Conlin.
Such a pretty birthday girl!
Sky took Josh to the Provo Beach Resort one day to hang out. They did the Wave-rider, bowling, and arcade games. It's so cute to see how much Josh looks up to Sky!
I have been so exhausted lately that a mini-vacation was definitely needed in order for me to make it through the rest of the summer! We decided to finally go on a Park City trip we had been talking about for months. We stayed at the Westgate with Skyler's parents. It's definitely amazing how much even going to a place 30 minutes away can make you feel like you went on vacation! I met everyone up in Park City after work and the fun began!
We went to one of our favorite restaurants in Park City. Baja Cantina never lets us down!
Friday night ended up being pretty eventful since the power went out across all of Park City. Although Baja Cantina had electricity, everything was out at our resort! We went swimming though and made the best of it! Thank goodness though that Park City is cooler than Provo is or we would have died without air conditioner!
The next day the power returned, and the rest of the trip was perfect!
One of the many pools. This one was fashioned after a Turkish bath and had a waterfall that was supposedly designed to give you a good massage.

Beautiful Park City

Of course that night I had to show my in-laws my new bowling skills. Unfortunately I totally choked the first game...but I came back strong in the second:)

Pretty waterfall in the front of the resort.
Sunday we had brunch at one of Park City's best breakfast restaurants, The Eating Establishment. It definitely lived up to the hype!
Such a great and relaxing weekend! It was just what I needed.
