Halfway Done with Law School

Well I did it...I'm halfway through, and somehow I made it through my hardest semester of school yet! I'm not sure what the results will be, but I know that I did my best in the circumstances that I was under, so I'm just going to try to be happy no matter what (hopefully the grades follow that optimistic outlook).  Whoever told me that my 1L year would be the hardest was definitely lying...what people forget to tell you is that just because you will know what you are doing your 2L year, this fact does not make up for the fact that you will be BUSIER than is humanly possible.  I guess this is to prepare us for when we are practicing law and working 12 hour days...but honestly people..I could have used a warning!  Between working 20 hours a week, being on a journal, participating in competitions, and taking classes that I wasn't that crazy about, I was swamped!  My exam schedule turning out to be back to back to back to back was the icing on the cake, oh that and my computer breaking in the middle of my studying, and me coming down with the flu....

Ok, but seriously..now that I have the ranting and raving out of the way...this exam season really reminded me of how great my life really is..Skyler definitely took up the slack and kept the house from falling apart..kept me from falling apart..took my computer in after I had a disastrous experience with the Apple store...my amazing dad kept Apple from taking advantage of me..my inlaws gave us food and encouragement...my friend Regan saved my life with a computer to borrow.....and my other friends not only gave me support but also didn't get mad at me when I didn't talk to them for weeks lol!  I really am blessed..and I am so excited to finally be done for the semester and able to enjoy Christmas time!
